CCFC National Board of Directors - Call for Nominations

The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) is accepting nominations for positions on the 2010/11 National Board of Directors.  The CCFC is a registered charity dedicated to finding the cure for Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).  The CCFC is also committed to IBD education and awareness-raising for this condition that affects 1 in every 160 Canadians.  As one of the world leaders in non-governmental funding of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research, you would be joining a team of highly dedicated Directors, volunteers, staff, and researchers.

We are currently recruiting up to five qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Director at Large (two)
  • National Vice President (three)*:
    • Alberta/NWT/Nunavut
    • British Columbia/Yukon
    • Newfoundland/Labrador

These openings are available for a three year term beginning October 2010 following Director ratification at the CCFC Annual General Meeting.  Experience in the following areas will be seen as assets in rounding out Board composition: Philanthropy, Revenue Generation, and Board Governance.

If you would like to nominate someone or are interested in a position yourself, please click here to download a nomination form.
For more information on the nomination process, please contact Julie Wilson, Executive Assistant to the CCFC Board and CEO at: (jwilson@ccfc.ca).
